The team at Seahub – Yacht Maintenance Software are thrilled to announce the launch of a new technology aimed at effectively managing new build & commissioning worklists.
Seahub enjoyed a successful week in Sanctuary Cove for the 2018 Australian Superyacht & Marine Export Conference (ASMEX) and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. Adding to a great opportunity to network and further understand the local marine industry landscape, Seahub took out the award for the Best Marine Export Performer of the Year at the 2018 Australian Marine Industry Awards.
This year was Seahub’s second year of attendance at the ASMEX marine conference in Sanctuary Cove. Chaired by Martin Redmayne of the Superyacht Group, the conference provided an invaluable insight into the Australian marine industry’s health and challenges. The speakers this year were fantastic. Princess Yachts, UK Marketing Director, Kiran Haslam gave an informative and entertaining presentation encompassing lifestyle, corporate actions and personalities. An interview with well known industry leader, Wes Moxley, CEO of Riviera, gave an inspirational insight into Wes’ history starting with a boat building apprenticeship and his various experiences working with the iconic Australian brand, Riviera. Together they were able to shed light on how the local marine industry can continue to expand, support growth and capitalise on opportunities. For those businesses looking to succeed in Australia, ASMEX is a great platform for creating a strong business network across a range of sectors and backgrounds.
Seahub’s Technical Director, Matt Hyde, was in attendance at ASMEX 2018 to represent Seahub and learn more about what is taking place within the industry. “ASMEX is a great opportunity to spend time and chat with like-minded individuals here in Australia that support the Australian marine industry. Everyone you speak with is passionate about their roles and the whole place is just full of ambiance and optimism. It’s a great place to network and build new relationships” says Hyde.
Securing the Best Marine Export Performer of the Year was a great honour for the entire Seahub team. “It was a great surprise to learn we had picked up the award this year. We built Seahub from very humble beginnings starting with Matt and I sitting in a room with a note pad and a white board. To win this award is great recognition for the entire team, especially our developers and support staff” says Sam, Commercial Director.
